ACC Chapter Awards Program Each year the ACC Chapter Awards Program showcases Chapter achievements. Chapter Awards recognize those chapters that have met a set of worthy standards over the prior year. The Pennsylvania Chapter was recognized in 2008. The Pennsylvania Chapter, American College of Cardiology (PaACC) recognizes the dedication and excellence in cardiovascular medicine in the state of Pennsylvania through the presentation of several distinct and special awards each year at its Annual Meeting. Nominations can be sent to the PaACC Chapter Office three months prior to the Chapter meeting to be considered by the members of the Chapter Executive Council. Distinguished Service Award The recipient (chapter member in good standing or chapter staff) is honored for exceptional dedication and service to the members, committees, council and/or staff of the Pennsylvania Chapter, American College of Cardiology. 2009 Paul.
