How to Update Your ACC Member Profile


1. Navigate to http://www.acc.org and click on the “Member Center” tab, as shown in the screenshot below:

 

2. When the page opens, enter your username and password.

 

3. Once you log in, you’ll see your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, as shown below. (If you need assistance with your username and password, please contact the ACC Resource Center at 800-253-4636, x5603, or email resource@acc.org).

 

4. You’ll see that the “Home” tab is highlighted in the top navigation bar. In the left-hand menu, you have several quick links:

  • Edit Your Profile, to add or change your member profile
  • Member Directory, to access the “members only” ACC directory
  • ACC Web Site, to navigate to acc.org
  • Cardiosource, to navigate to Cardiosource.com
  • Cardiology, to access the online archives of Cardiology magazine

Click on "Edit Your Profile,” either below your email address in the center of the page or in the left-hand menu.

 

5. On the next page, you’ll see that you have several options (please see the example below). To change your contact information, click on “My Contact Information” in the left-hand menu. You’ll have the ability to change or add:

  • telephone, fax and email
  • practice setting
  • addresses
  • address preferences for mailing and billing
  • company information
  • assistant information

 

6. Browsing through the remaining menu options, you can choose:

  • My Activities, for committee assignments and chapter involvement
  • My Login, to change your password
  • My Specialities, to update your primary, secondary and/or tertiary specialties
  • My Volunteer Interests, for current volunteer activities or to register as a volunteer
  • My Interests, to access any current census activity
  • My Email Preferences, to choose eNewsletters and the format in which you receive them (HTML or text)
  • Cardiology Magazine, to access online archives for “Cardiology” magazine
