OVERALL NEED STATEMENT

Presentation and discussion of rapidly changing diagnostic techniques and application of therapies in developing areas of cardiology (Sports Cardiology, Amyloids, cardio-obstetrics, cardio-oncology) are needed to increase the understanding of how to implement high-quality, team-based care in these emerging areas.

OVERALL GOAL STATEMENT

The overall goal of this activity is to increase learner knowledge and competency about how to identify, understand and incorporate the latest research in therapeutics and technologies in emerging areas of cardiology in a team-based, evidence-based practice.
